Take a look at this modified Maruti Swift, which is wrapped in a shade of yellow. Doesn't it look gorgeous?

Maruti Swift is one of the sportiest hatchbacks that are currently available in the country. It comes equipped with a 1.2L K-series power plant, which is tuner-friendly by all means. Therefore, a lot of modified examples can be spotted at roads with ease. However, only a handful of them are gracefully tuned to keep their performance and aesthetics on the same page. Here’s one that we came across via a social media platform. It belongs to Mr. Rahul Singh, who hails from Delhi. Talking of the modifications that have been performed on this particular Swift, they are comprehensive. It has been tuned cosmetically and mechanically so that it just doesn’t look fast.

Starting with the mechanicals first, it gets a custom lowered suspension setup from Cobra suspensions, which is a Netherland-based brand. It gets an aftermarket intake system from HPI Megamax along with a straight-piped exhaust system. To improve the braking performance, stock brake pads on this Swift have been replaced with EC Tyre brake pads from Dixcel. Also, it now sits on a set of aftermarket alloy wheels, which are 16-inches in diameter and are draped in stickier rubber.

Moving over to the aesthetical mods, this Swift is a big-time attention grabber. It wears a custom yellow colour body wrap that reminds us of the famous Bumblebee character from the movie of Autobots. Also, to continue with the sportier theme, it now gets a custom spoiler and aftermarket tail lamps that accentuate its overall sporty quotient. However, not much has been souped up under the hood of this modified Swift.

The Swift is powered by a 1.2L naturally aspirated 4-cylinder K-series petrol engine that puts out a peak power output of 83 PS and max torque of 113 Nm. This motor can be had coupled to either a 5-speed MT or a 5-speed AMT. The Swift is due for a mid-cycle update, but a minor one. With the update, it is likely to get the powerful DualJet motor from the facelifted Dzire. With the new motor in place, the Swift will boast of an increased power output of 90 PS.
