The all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe was unveiled in India in March last year. The German carmaker has finally launched the SUV into the Indian market at a price tag of Rs 62.7 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)

The all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe was unveiled in India in March last year. The German carmaker has finally launched the SUV into the Indian market at a price tag of Rs 62.7 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new model will be locally assembled at the company’s facility in Chakan, Pune. In terms of design, upfront the SUV carries a more aggressive look. The sleek headlamp cluster along with new contours make is looks more dominating. The car also gets a new looking grille, huge side air-vents and a more muscular-looking bumper. Moreover, the A-pillar of the GLC Coupe facelift has a more noticeable slope, which decreases the roof silhouette and enhances the sporty quotient of the SUV. The rear section of the car gets some visual updates like taillamps with new tubular graphics, big exhaust pipe housing and a new-looking diffuser.

Inside, the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe facelift now gets rotary pushbutton, instead of a multifunctional touchpad for more convenience. The SUV also gets a newly redesigned steering wheel, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster. The Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe facelift also features the company’s MBUX infotainment system, which is capable of understanding voice commands by prompting “Hey Mercedes”.

Inside, the all-new Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe facelift now gets rotary pushbutton, instead of a multifunctional touchpad for more convenience

The carmaker is offering the GLC Coupe with two different powertrains options- the GLC300 4MATIC petrol and the GLC 300 d 4MATIC diesel. The petrol engine has been updated with mild-hybrid tech. The engine now features a new EQ Boost 48-volt onboard electrical system. The petrol mill puts out power and torque outputs of 258 PS and 370 NM, while the oil-burner is tuned to offer 245 PS of power and 500 Nm of twisting force. The transmission duties will be done by a 9G-TRONIC, 9-speed automatic transmission. The petrol-powered model can accelerate from 0-100 in 6.3 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 240 kmph. On the other hand, the diesel-powered model does the same job 6.6 seconds and is good at touching 233 kmph of top-speed.
