Audi is on a roll in India, with new launches every few months. After the A6, Audi's next launch will be the Q8 SUV in January 2020.

The Deutsche manufacturer Audi has had a great SUV lineup, which gave provided it with a good market share. The massive Q7, sensible Q5, and the volume gathering Q3, all have been performing well in the Indian market. But the manufacturer never had a flashy SUV in its lineup to directly rival the likes of BMW X6 and Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe. To fill this gap the German Auto marque has finally decided to bring the Q8 SUV to Indian shores. The launch for this flagship luxury SUV is scheduled on 15th January 2020 and will be an important launch at the 2020 Auto Expo, as the manufacturer has announced its non-participation at the 2020 Auto Expo.

The Audi Q8 is will be the second product from the manufacturer after it has announced to bring petrol-only cars to India. Skipping the option of a diesel engine might not be a great choice since the Indian market loves pouring the lesser fuel in their big expensive cars. Thus, the Q8 is expected to come with a 3.0-litre petrol motor that belts out 340bhp. The transmission duties are expected to be performed by an 8-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic function and Audi’s Quattro AWD system.
