Check out this Toyota Fortuner and Innova Crysta that have transformed into the ultra-luxurious cabin on wheels – another great work from the house of DC2 (DC Design).
DC2 (formerly known as DC Design) has been one of the best-known modification houses in our market. It was the manufacturer of the Indian sports car – DC Avanti along with plenty of tastefully modified cars that look extra premium from outside to inside. Having said that, modifying a car’s interior is what DC2 is highly acclaimed for. We came across a DC modified Toyota Fortuner and modified Innova Crysta that both look none other than the super-luxurious mobile condos.
There are a number of unique customisations made to the interiors of the Fortuner and Innova Crysta that we’ve never seen before. They get a collapsible partition glass at the centre of the cabin to maintain the social distancing between the occupants, thereby reducing the chance of coronavirus spread. This feature is also the main difference between this modified Toyota Fortuner and Innova Crysta with other DC lounge conversions. That is normally mounted where the LCD screens are placed, in this case, however, the modified SUVs see the 15-inch screen is installed on the roof.
Much like other DC modified lounge versions, the new customized interiors of the Fortuner and Innova Crysta are built to provide the ultra-premium experience while staying with the cars. Interestingly, spotting the removal of the third-row seats, the Fortuner and Innova Crysta now becomes the 4 seaters merely. The rear passengers can enjoy the ease of fully-powered 24-inch captain seats which have been wrapped in leather for the upmarket touch and feel and boasts of the reclining function at the same time.
Other than that, the interiors are also equipped with power-adjustable headrest, lumbar support, integrated seat belts, reading lights, height-adjustable seats among others. There’s also an automation controller for the lighting system, seats, sound system and screen, etc. inside the cabin. The door pads are accentuated with wooden trims for a more premium lounge-like cosmetic appeal.
Other highlighting features on the DC modified Fortuner & Innova Crysta include front and rear cameras, intercom, 7-litre chiller, 4-speakers audio system, 12V & 230V charging points, headphone jack among others.
Apart from the above mod jobs, the DC2 modified lounge can be available with optional fitments like galaxy roof lights, electric sanitization, wooden flooring and all. All the modifications have spruced things up around the interiors of the Fortuner and Innova Crysta. The asking prices for the modifications start from Rs 7.75 lakh (excluding taxes) while the optional fitments like electric sanitization, wooden flooring, galaxy roof lights, etc. can cost you an extra amount of Rs 4.3 lakh plus taxes.
