The new-gen Mahindra Thar has attracted a lot of enthusiasts around the country. As per Mahindra along with off-roading, the 2020 model of the SUV can also be used for everyday commuting. Here’s a recent YouTube video uploaded by a YouTube channel named as DCV, where the owner of the all-new Mahindra Thar shares his first-day experience with the SUV. Earlier, the vlogger owned a Ford EcoSport diesel manual, but he was not much satisfied with the car. As per the Youtuber, he uses Ford Ecosport for office commuting, but because of his formal shoes, it was quite frustrating for him to operate a manual gearbox.

That’s why he bought the automatic trim of the SUV. Moreover, he was also looking for a car in which he can do a bit off-road on weekends. The vlogger bought the diesel-automatic trim of the SUV and was really impressed by it. He says that the SUV offers a good amount of grip on tarmac, but feels a bit unplanted on concrete roads. He also said that the 2020 Mahindra Thar is a big attention grabber. Furthermore, the suspension tuning of the SUV is quite impressive as it effortlessly counters broken roads and potholes. The Youtuber said the cabin of the SUV does not feel much insulated because of the soft top. Overall, he’s quite happy with his 2020 Mahindra Thar diesel automatic.

The new-gen Mahindra off-roader is powered by 2.0-litre petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel engine.
