Range Rover Evoque-inspired Modified Maruti Vitara Brezza Is Up For Sale

In recent days, the Indian car aficionados are getting more and more inclined towards having their cars modified into luxury high-end vehicles, be it a Maruti Swift getting a skin of the Lamborghini or a Honda CR-V getting converted into a badass Karlmann King. While car modifications have been a part and parcel of the automotive world, people just found a whole new love into making their humble models look like the expensive ones. In fact, replica cars are no longer a rare sight on the Indian roads today but most of them are not really a good-looking example. However, this modified Maruti Vitara Brezza gets an exception.

The Maruti Vitara Brezza is truly a great success story of the company which was only popular for cost-effective small cars from day one. The Vitara Brezza is quite a handsome car itself but one of the car owners  has caught sight of the striking similarities between the Brezza and the Range Rover Evoque and couldn’t resist a complete makeover for his vehicle.

Inspired by the Range Rover Evoque, this modified Vitara Brezza from Kerala looks good in its all-new tweaked beauty. The modification job on the Maruti SUV is sufficiently impressive. The body of the car has been completely modified for more luxurious look. The front fascia of the car is the best reminiscence of the luxury Evoque with a new grille that replicates the Range Rover’s iconic front grille. The front bumper is also heavily redesigned, all the ways to make it more Range Rover Evoque- alike. The rear end of the SUV also receives some tweaks with revamped boot lid, additional chrome detailing that resembles the rear profile of the Range Rover. The car uses a set of multi-spoke alloy wheels shod with low-profile tyres to get a better effect in its rugged stance.

Information about the cabin of the SUV is still scarce at this point, as there’s still no image of the car’s interior. However, we can spot the dual-tone interior colour theme with the black and red colour combinations inside the model.

The modified SUV retains the same mechanical bits from the diesel-powered Brezza. It derives the power from a tried and tested 1.3-litre Fiat Multijet diesel engine tuned for 89 BHP and 200 Nm of torque. Like the original model, the car also comes paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

For now, this Maruti Vitara Brezza has been up for sale at the price of Rs 13 Lakh. However, what is untold here is whether the modification job on the SUV is legal or not. Therefore, buyers should take it into serious consideration since the RTO officials in Kerala have issued stricter regulations on modified vehicles.

Back to the standard Vitara Brezza, the SUV is currently one of the best-selling cars in the segment. With the introduction of the Hyundai Venue, sales of the Maruti Vitara Brezza has been dethroned from the first position. Maruti Suzuki is attempted to take back the lead with the launch of the petrol-powered facelifted Brezza.
