The all-new Tata Safari has been received positively, with over 3,000 bookings taking place in the first month of launch. Now, the automaker has revealed the biggest ad hoarding in India for the 7-seater SUV.

Advertising is a great way to ensure that a product remains visible to prospective customers. A few years ago, Jeep and Tata waged a war to place massive hoardings in the Pune-Mumbai Expressway. And now, Tata has revealed the biggest car hoarding for the new Safari in India. The advertising hoarding measures over 28,000 square feet in size, and visible from afar when driving along the highway. Tata shared a video on YouTube as well that shows how the hoarding looks at night with the lights on.

The latest Tata Safari hoarding is 225 feet wide and 125 feet tall. A total of 265 tons of steel was used to build the hoarding. Tata Motors has previously positioned large hoardings on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway as well. For the Harrier, Tata put up a hoarding that measured 27,500 square feet. To compete with that, Jeep put up a hoarding of the Compass which was 100 feet tall and 253 feet wide. It will be interesting to see if Jeep comes with an even bigger hoarding, given that the Compass has been recently updated.

The 2021 Tata Safari is an all-new model that is underpinned by the same platform as the Harrier. Though the two SUVs look fairly similar, the Safari gets a few distinct features, excluding the longer rear-end. The 2021 Safari comes loaded with features like auto projector headlights with LED DRLs with indicator function, LED taillights, an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with integrated Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, semi-digital instrument cluster, auto-dimming IRVM, cruise control, driving modes, rain-sensing wipers, height-adjustable driver’s seat, tilt and telescoping adjustable steering wheel, a tyre pressure monitoring system, an 8-speaker audio system and more. Safety features include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, Hill Hold Assist, roll-over mitigation, rear disc brakes and an Electronic Stability Program.
