The video has been uploaded by ASRS VLOGS over on YouTube where we can see this new Mahindra Thar’s bonnet opening with no manual effort. The bonnet opens slowly and gradually on its own power. The Thar doesn’t come with an electric hood release feature from the factory, which means the owner of this one had to get the system fitted via the aftermarket. Though the video is very short, it clearly shows how it works, and also you can point out it opens the bonnet safety latch on its own, which is a manual job as it prevents the bonnet from opening fully by accident when it's on the move. It has to be noted that there are no details about who owns or where the Thar is from, and we can confirm what sort of mechanism this electric bonnet is using exactly.
