Apart from Hindi and English, the two most popular languages in India, there are countless movies launched in Telugu, Malayalam, and of course, Tamil. In fact, a few Tamil actors have extremely successful careers in films. One such actor is Vadivelu. Born Kumaravadivel Natarajan, Vadivelu has a Tamil actor and playback singer. The creator of the video above claims to have filmed the entire car collection of the Tamil actor. Vadivelu seems to own a lot of brilliant luxury and sports cars. His car collection would, in fact, attract the envy of many! Let’s discuss every car seen in the video in detail below.

Audi Q7

The first car in Vadivelu car collection is a gigantic Audi Q7. The car is a previous generation model (2010-2015) and is one of the largest Audi cars sold in India. This particular model was sold in India with a few brilliant powertrain options. First was a 3.0-litre V6 diesel, capable of producing 240PS and 550Nm of peak power and torque. The second was a 4.2-litre V8 diesel with 340PS and 760Nm. The third was an absolutely bonkers 6.0-litre V12 diesel with 500PS of max power and 1,000Nm of max torque! The current-generation Audi Q7 is offered with two engine options: a 2.0-litre inline-4 turbo-petrol and a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel. Prices of the Q7 range from Rs. 85.15 lakh to Rs. 1.01 Crore (both prices ex-showroom, New Delhi).

BMW 7-series

The second car in Vadivelu car collection is a BMW 7-series luxury saloon. The particular model seen in the video is another older-generation model, just like the Q7 mentioned above. It was sold with some really powerful engine options as well. The base variant came with a 3.0-litre inline-6 diesel engine capable of producing 245PS and 350Nm. Then there is a 3.0-litre inline-6 petrol engine with 320PS and 450Nm on tap. Next is a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine which makes a 408PS and 600Nm of peak power and torque. The last engine option on this generation of 7-series is a 6.0 twin-turbo V12 petrol with 544PS and 750Nm on offer.

The current-generation BMW 7-series also sports a plethora of engine options: a 3.0-litre petrol (with an optional hybrid motor), 3.0-litre diesel, and a 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12. The price range starts at just over Rs. 1.22 Crore and goes up to a mind-blowing Rs. 2.42 Crore. The car is also available in an armoured version, preferred by VVIPs all around as their personal transport vehicle.

Jaguar XJ

Just like BMW 7-series, Jaguar XJ is another luxury limousine in the vehicle collection of Vadivelu. Being Jaguar’s flagship vehicle in India, the XJ was only available in its long-wheelbase avatar, for extra interior space. Just like the other cars mentioned above, this one is an older model as well. Jaguar XJ was previously available with three engine options. These included a 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel (275PS and 600Nm), a 5.0-litre naturally aspirated V8 petrol (385PS and 380Nm), and a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol (510PS and 625Nm). Sadly, the current XJ is only sold with a 3.0-litre V6 diesel, but in a more powerful guise (306PS and 689Nm). The car is priced at Rs 1.35 crore (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

Bentley Continental GT

The next car we see in the video is a Bentley Continental GT, one of the most luxurious and powerful Grand Tourers, not in India, but the entire world. The model seen in Vadivelu car collection sports a huge 6.0-litre W12 petrol engine, with 567PS and 700Nm of max power and peak torque respectively. The engine also features cylinder-cut-off technology, which helps improve the fuel economy of the car when driving lazily. The 2020 Bentley Continental GT is offered with two engine options: a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 and a 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12. The smaller engine makes 540PS and 770Nm, while the larger one makes 629PS and 900Nm. Prices soar between Rs. 3.29 Crore and Rs. 4.42 Crore.

Rolls Royce Ghost

The biggest luxury car brand in the world, Rolls Royce, also makes an appearance in the video of Vadivelu car collection. This particular model is a Rolls Royce Ghost, and it is a previous generation model as well. RR Ghost is powered by a 563PS and 820Nm producing 6.6-litre V12. The Ghost is sold in two variants – a standard model and an extended-wheelbase model. The latter, as the name suggests, is a longer version that offers added interior space. Not that it was lacking in the standard one. The price own this luxury beauty begins at Rs. 6.21 Crore and goes up to Rs. 7.0 Crore.

Porsche 911 Coupe

Porsche is one of the most desirable sports car brand in the world. It is unsurprising to see one among Vadivelu car collection as well. The model seen here is the Coupe version, instead of a Convertible or Targa version. There were plenty of engine options available on the 911 for this particular generation. These include a 3.4-litre boxer-6, a 3.6-litre boxer-6, and a 3.8-litre boxer-6, all with varying power and torque outputs.

The current-generation, i.e., 2020 Porsche 911 is only offered in India with one engine option, a 3.0-litre boxer-6. The car produces a max power of 450PS and a max torque of 530Nm. Internationally, the same engine is also available in another state of tune (379PS). In India, Porsche 911 range is available for between Rs. 1.82 Crore to 2 Crore.

Land Rover Range Rover Evoque

The last car in our list of Vadivelu car collection is Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. This beautifully crafted SUV from the British Luxury manufacturer never fails to attract attention from the general populace. Apart from its sharp looks and dynamic handling, the car also offers a brilliant powertrain. It has a 2.0-litre inline-4 diesel engine which produces 179PS and 430Nm. Price of the car starts from Rs. 54.94 lakh to Rs. 59.85 lakh. The international model of the Evoque also features a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol as well, in two different states of tune (246PS and 296PS).
