Maruti Dzire Becomes The 1 Millionth Car Export from India's Leading Carmaker

Maruti Suzuki's one-millionth car has been exported from Mundra Port in Gurajat.

India’s largest car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has announced that it has reached the milestone of one million car exports. Its 1 millionth car exported from Mundra Port in Gurajat to Chile is a Maruti Dzire which has been draped in a shade of Oxford Blue. It’s worth noting that the Maruti Dzire is also the most sought-after sedan model in its segment in India currently.

The one millonth car of Maruti Suzuki to be exported from Mundra Port is a Maruti Dzire.

The Gurajat’s Mundra Port, as you may know, is the second terminal port for Maruti Suzuki to export its models to Europe, Far East and Latin America. Maruti Suzuki started exports from the Mundra Port back in 2009 and until now, the company exports as many as 14 models including the Dzire, Baleno, Celerio, Ignis and Alto K10 from there. The auto company has a PDI facility (Pre Delivery Inspection) and stockyard at Mundra Port. Maruti Suzuki cars have been exported to more than 125 different countries in the world, with the cumulative volume exceeding over 1.8 million units.

In India, the Maruti Dzire is currently the best seller in its sedan segment.

In another movement, Maruti Suzuki is readying the Renault Kwid’s rival, the Maruti S-Presso which is set to go on sale at the end of this month. Once launched, the S-Presso will be Maruti Suzuki’s first entry-level model in around seven years. Besides, a more premium version of the Maruti WagonR is also in the pipeline.
